Do I need a new title policy when I refinance?
Your lender will require a new lender's policy because the old one covered the old loan. Your owner's policy stays in force. Bring us your prior owner's policy and you may qualify for a reissue-rate discount.
How fast can a refinance close?
Once the lender clears the loan, we can typically close within a few business days. Most delays come from payoff letters and association estoppels, which we order on day one.
Can I choose the title company for my refinance?
Yes. The borrower has the right to select the title agent. Tell your loan officer you are using Title Experts of South Florida.
